Position on Jesus
Muslims do accept Jesus as a prophet.
Christ is Greek for Moschiah. For
the Jews Jesus Can not be the Christ because Moschiah will be the obvious King
which Jesus was not.
Jews don't even want to discuss the miracles: we admit them and the discussion
was never on that point. Miracles don't prove anything for the Jews.
Jesus can, like the Muslims do, be accepted by the Jews as a Prophet.
However, neither Jews nor Muslims can't admit the notion of "saint
trinity" as it is in contradiction with our first commandment.
The symbol of the crucifix is for us, like for the Muslims an idolatry, and by
definition was not condoned by Jesus.
As far as the New Testament is concerned, it was not written by Jesus was never
a revealed Book and hence can not have the status of either Torah or Qu'ran.
Written Torah is written oral Torah is oral. As G-d said to Moshe Rabbenu. No
document other than the written Torah, and Qu'ran can have the status of Oral
Torah, be written and kept as such.
Was Jesus a guilgul of the Neshamah (soul) of Moschiah: for the Jews in every
generation there is a head of the generation, which has probably the soul of
Moschiah. What is certain is that you will never be able to prove that or the
contrary for anyone on earth: till the soul gets in the final body of Moschiah
it will never be obvious to everyone that he is Moschiah since this is precisely
how you would recognize Moschiah.
Final point is: Like Moshe Rabbenu, like Muhammad, Moschiah will be a man. He
can not have a special status and be liken to G-d.
Sincerely Yours,
